The Public Health and Safety Division conducts advanced research and development that may be of interest to public health researchers and administrators, national, state, and local public health agencies, the health care industry, and many others. This includes research in the areas of public health, preventive medicine, epidemiology, vaccines and vaccination, water treatments, such as fluoridation and chlorination, public health emergency response, firefighting, and all other aspects of public health and safety.
