The Law Enforcement Assistance Division assists law enforcement agencies with the unique capabilities of WISE researchers and practitioners, and may be of interest to researchers, national, state, and local law enforcement agencies, and others. This includes the use of such investigatory methods as psychometry, clairvoyance, and other extrasensory perception methods to help law enforcement prevent crimes or to resolve ongoing and unsolved crimes, including unsolved murders, ongoing serials killings, ongoing terrorist group and individual activity, missing people, unsolved kidnappings, unsolved robberies, cold cases, and other significant crimes of all kinds. It also includes research on the potential use of natural resonant frequecy technology to locate and/or disable firearms, cartridges, and other weapons, as well as research on nonlethal methods for subduing violent suspects and criminals.
