Governance of the World Institute for Scientific Exploration (WISE)
The WISE’s governing structure consists of a Board of Directors, an Executive Committee, and a Board of Senior Scientific Advisors. New members of the Board of Directors are elected by a democratic election process of official WISE members. The Executive Committee members are chosen by the Board of Directors. Members of the Board of Senior Scientific Advisors are appointed by the Board of Directors and provide valuable advice and consultation to members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Internal Structure of the World Institute for Scientific Exploration (WISE)
The WISE is composed of a number of divisions that conduct research, and develop innovative and extraordinary services and technology to apply research findings, consistent with WISE’s stated mission. Each WISE division is headed by a director, and is composed of a number of research centers responsible for carrying out research and development projects related to their particular specialized area of inquiry. Each research center also has a director, as well as, a number of Faculty members, Advisors, Researchers, and Research Associates who conduct research, scientific investigations, and field explorations; provide advice, engage in technology development, and provide other research assistance.
