Big News: WISE to sponsor International Conference on Life Energy: Syntropy and Resonance (click for details)

By Dominique Surel PhD
Vice President, WISE

Perhaps it is not a coincidence that WISE has seen the light of day in the year 2012 which offers us, humanity, the opportunity to make a significant shift in our transformational process of evolution. It takes courage and a pioneering spirit to take-on the challenge. Some will resist it and others will feel inspired with the need to embark on the journey.

21st Century Dynamics

It is already apparent that the old organizational structures will no longer function in this new paradigm. The conventional structural hierarchies that prevailed in most businesses and organizations have already begun to morph into more organic types of models. Prigogine’s concept of open systems and its application to social and other human paradigms is coming to light.

Even though the last century focused on technological advancements whose applications have contributed to the de-humanization of our interactions, those who can feel the 2012 shift also know that the human aspect is taking on an ever more important dimension. Enlightened decision-makers and leaders are recognizing the need to build relationships at another level that is more organic and transparent. Successful individuals will learn to transcend ego and any selfish need for power and control – or their organization will not survive. As an example, positions of individuals sitting as observers and making decisions from “the top” are now defunct. 21st Century leaders will be strong individuals with vision and engaged in the work itself.

WISE – Leading the Way

he founders of WISE are very much sensitive to these changing dynamics in our global world and the need to break through our filters and old boundaries. The organizational structure of WISE is organic in nature and aligned with the new dynamics.

We want to reach out to you, WISE members, and invite you to bring forth your ideas, research proposals, and any other propositions you may have to further the evolution of mankind. The reason we are asking for PhDs, MDs, or other doctoral level individuals to head-up the WISE Divisions and Departments is to create credibility vis-à-vis our external environment. We will be seeking funding and therefore need to present a minimum of conventional credibility. That being said, we invite and welcome all members who have degrees or who do not have degrees to bring forth their ideas and concepts to the relevant Division or Department director. WISE offers all members the opportunity to work within a Division to develop their ideas and seek funding within the WISE guidelines.

We believe that WISE will grow organically by attracting like-minded vision-oriented individuals and organizations. Already before WISE was officially launched we received a research grant. The Hong Kong branch is officially registered and the members are moving forward with scheduled  local meetings. We have also received a research proposal from Dr. Albert So, Director of the WISE Hong Kong Branch.

WISE will continue to grow globally and form a forward thinking network of individuals and organizations who wish to make a difference in the evolution of society.

WISE Conferences

WISE will endeavor to build a bridge between the world of research and the private sector and other organizations. It is time to create channels of discussion between different industries to identify their research needs and connect them with potential research collaborators. We will therefore be planning conferences with specific themes and inviting interested parties from industries to participate in inter-active sessions with the goal to create meaningful exchanges and potential partnerships. As local branches of WISE are created, we will encourage members to initiate communication and interaction with local enterprises.

We thank you for joining us on this transformational journey and we look forward to forging collaborative relationships around the globe.
